Hello, and Advice Edit

Hello, welcome here! No need to fear being new. I am actually rather new to this myself: when I stumbled upon this wiki it was mostly abandoned, so I started some cleanup. I was later joined by User:Bacod253, who applied for adoption/adminship of the wiki for both of us. I accepted, as although I know little about the more arcane workings of a wiki, and I am not here all the time, I know I can help a bit with keeping things in order. ;-)

Now, to your question: you yourself can also add categories, either by putting "[-[Category:xxx]-]" (without the hyphens) at the bottom of the page, or by using the "Add category" function below the article. If you are unsure about where exactly to put it, just leave it out or put it in the topmost fitting category, and somebody else will further categorize it. Also, you should remember to sign your talk page comments with four tildes (also available in the code box below the editing field), which will automatically add your name, date and time of the edit. If you answer somebody else's comment, you can put a colon in front of your comment, which will indent your text. Both things makes it easier to keep track of who said what in a discussion. There is also a rough (improvised) guide on how to construct articles and handle spoilers on my talk page, in case you're interested, although this is just a loose preliminary guideline. Otherwise, just look around a bit, or ask, and I will help if I can. And in the time honoured wiki motto, Be bold!

Well, I hope you will have fun editing here! —- ElbeFluss 21:20, November 25, 2009 (UTC)
