Summer Queens
Winter Queens

The Triple Goddess is an important Neopagan[Footnote 1] divine representation of the three life stages of a woman: the Maiden, the Mother, and the Crone.[Footnote 2]

The three female figures symbolize both a separate stage in the female life cycle and a phase of the Moon, and often rule one of the realms of earth, underworld, and the heavens. These may or may not be perceived as aspects of a greater single divinity. The Goddess of Wicca's duotheistic theology is sometimes portrayed as the Triple Goddess, her masculine consort being the Horned God.[Footnote 2] She is represented by the Faerie Queens.[1]

In Skin Game, two groups of three golden statues of the Triple Goddess are in Hades' Vault, each statue representing one of her aspects. From the oustretched hands of one statue burns an icy blue-green flame, from the other a golden-green. Hannah Ascher thinks she recognize in them Hecate of the crossroads,[Footnote 3] but Harry Dresden recognizes in them all six Faerie Queens.[1]
