Proven Guilty is the eight novel in the The Dresden Files series by Jim Butcher, published in 2006. It has forty-seven chapters.

• Charity Carpenter was once a practioner but let her powers go dormant after meeting Michael; Molly inherited her magic from her mother.
• Karrin Murphy gets demoted to Detective Sergeant, and is no longer in charge of Special Investigations.
