Michael is an archangel.

Biography

Michael is the one who offered Knight of the Cross Sanya his position. He met Shiro Yoshimo and Sanya in Malta, after the latter had abandoned his Fallen, Magog, in Venice. Michael offered Sanya the sword Esperacchius and the chance to fight evil and redeem himself, which Sanya accepted, becoming a Knight of the Cross.^[1]
