Esteban Batiste and his wife Esmeralda Batiste are a field team as assassins for the Red Court.[1]
ApearanceEdit
Esteban was five-foot-six with short red hair, wore a black beard, and had sun-darkened skin. He was dressed in black silk clothing, like he'd just left a dress rehearsal for Hamlet.
In the Series Edit
The Eebs appear out of the forest and abduct Harry, who was injured by the Ik'k'uox.[2] Esteban claims that he's there to stop Harry from allowing Arianna from proceeding with her designs. Then he has a rational discussion about Harry's options to save his daughter: gift her to the Red King, kill himself, or be turned into a vampire.
When Mouse is heading toward them, Esteban orders Esmeralda to kill him. Harry pulls out his amulet which burns off Esmeralda flesh mask. Mouse drives them off.[3]
The Eebs throw a Molotov coctail into Harry's doorway, burning down the entire building.[4] Molly confirmed their identity as the drive-by firebombers, Esteban specifically as the thrower. [5]
