In "B is for Bigfoot", she admits to being an archaelogist and having met Strength of a River in His Shoulders at a dig in Ontario when she stayed late in the fall and let herself to be caught by the snow. They didn't marry.
She informs Harry Dresden that Irwin Pounder started coming home with injuries, which were probably worse earlier in the day. She started bringing him to school and back home, though there have been no more injuries, this is not a viable solution; she also informs him that she is not interested in courts, just her son's wellbeing.
