The Brothers Grimm were 19th century German folklorists and philologists, specialized in collecting and publishing folklore and fairy tales.[Footnote 1]

Their main opus is Kinder- und Hausmärchen, best known as Grimm's Fairy Tales, which is one of the most influential collections of fairy tales in the Western world.[Footnote 1]
